Dr. Shenkin will offer some opening remarks, present the conference theme and objectives,and introduce Craig Freshley, facilitator.
3:15 pm ADA President-Elect Candidates Forum
4:45 pm KEYNOTE: "Turning Walls Into Doors OR How to Change the World on Your Lunch Break"
Yellow Light Breen, Esq., Senior Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer, Bangor Savings Bank
Mr. Breen will offer a keynote address that provides an enlightening and provocative foundation for our discussions about the future of dentistry.

11:15 am "Reactions and Initial Visions -- Full Group Discussion" -- Craig Freshley, Facilitator
Mr. Freshley will lead a facilitated full group discussion that will include reactions to comments of the morning speakers and sharing additional views about the future of dentistry. Before adjourning for lunch, each participant will be asked to write and submit an answer to the following question: "In what way will dentistry in 2020 be most different from dentistry today 1) for patients and 2) for dentists?"

1:15 pm "Review of Initial Reactions" Over lunch, Mr. Freshley will have organized all "initial visions" on the wall. At this time, he will present the results to the full group.
1:30 pm "Confronting the Crisis in Access to Oral Health Care for Children: Creating an Expanded Workforce" David Nash, D.M.D., M.S., Ed.D.
2:15 pm "The Future of Public’s Health and the Practice of Dentistry in 2020" Dushanka Kleinman, D.D.S., M.Sc.D.

3:15 pm "Different Futures - What are the alternatives?" Craig Freshley, Facilitator The future of dentistry will be affected by many factors. What are the key factors that will affect our future? What are the two or three different ways that we can imagine the future of dentistry, depending on the infl uence of key factors? In small group table discussions, facilitated by Craig Freshley, we will discuss these and related questions.

8:45 am University of New England Dental School Update -- Kneka Smith, MPH, Associate Dean for Planning
9:15 am Facilitated Discussion Craig Freshley will share with us the summary results of table discussions from the previous afternoon and we will discuss briefly. We will have a fi nal facilitated discussion about what dentistry will look like in 2020 and Mr. Freshley will develop and present a summary for our consideration. Hopefully, we will identify some key "markers" to track; and potentially some key areas to focus on to help shape the future of dentistry.
10:30 am Presidents’ Reports
The written reports will be in the attendee packets; each state President will have five minutes to expand on one key element--- whatever he or she thinks is most important item to highlight from his/her Presidential year.
